John Stone

History: John Stone was born and raised in London's rough and tumble East-End in the years following the Great War. The son of a stevedore and a prostitute, John started avoiding his parent's third-story one-room flat as a soon as he was old enough to take care of himself.
Home was a tough place, with five sibling, too little food and a father who worked too little, drank too much and who liked to put his hands on his children. This might have been different had John's mother been around, but she was too busy Chasing the Dragon or selling herself to pay for the opium; either way John didn't see much of her and when she died he barely noticed.
